CPC, CPM, CTR Advertising Terms Details


Blogger is one of the platform where many people earn small to big money to monetize there website traffic. There are many advertising terms used in advertising network such as CPC, CPA, CPM CTR etc. If you ran any ads in your website or blog, you might have notice these terms. Here are the full details of these terms.


[CPC = Cost Per Click]  Cost per Click or CPC in easy meaning how much will you earn per click. Advertisers network mainly determine CPC cost.


[CPM = Cost Per Thousand] CPM advertising means an advertising model purchase by publishers on basis of thousand page view. Example, Let you have a blog or website and using CPM advertising at $5CPM, That’s mean advertising network will pay you $5 per Thousand impression.

Formula, Total Price = Total Impression / 1000 * CPM Rate


[CPI = Cost Per Impression] Cost per impression or CPI in easy meaning how much will you earn per impression. Advertisers network mainly determine cost per impression.

Formula, Cost Per Impression (CPI) = Cost per Thousand (CPM) / 1000


[CTR = Click Through Rate] Click through Rate is the way to measure how often visitor click your ads. CTR give you a good idea about how your ads working. If you get 10 clicks per 1000 impression so your CTR is 0.01.

Formula, CTR = Number of Clicks / Number of Impression


[eCPM = Effective Cost Per Thousand Impression]  eCPM used to check your blog performance.

Formula, eCPM = Total Earning / Total Impression * 1000

These terms are very effective on your earning via any advertising program or affiliate program.
